Jimmy Choo Spring party

"whipped into a blur by wings beating too fast to follow"… the mighty hummingbird became the centerpiece of our inspiration and design. We were set with the task of creating a save-the-date + invitation for a special Jimmy Choo event, benefiting the Nashville Symphony. The Spring collection included jewel tones, Iris' (fitting, as it's our the state flower), and of course, small, but mighty hummingbirds.

We watercolored the florals and let them show through around the address by using a vellum envelope on the Save the Date. Then on the main invitation we really tried to make it feel layered and ultra luxurious. Gorgeous calligraphy with lots of flourish and a die-cut wrap that slid off to reveal the metallic silver foil. All the girly details we could think of for a shoe party inside the most beautiful closet you've ever seen. Yes, the closet. One of a kind indeed!

Favorite detail was this delicate hummingbird carrying the stamp…

We got to be involved at every step of this party so we also created the cocktail napkins and take away bags. Inside were hand painted chocolates by local co., Olive & Sinclair. They were amazing and the color coordination was spot on. Details, details.

Downtown Nashville, Rooftop Celebration

Seeing that we're in Music City, we get asked to create Nashville style invitations a lot. Always trying to reinvent our wonderful skyline! This engagement party took place on a rooftop so we came up with this design as a different take on our downtown skyline. A dreamy nighttime scene with buildings in the distance. We watercolored the background, then used copper foil on top.

SAVAGE interior design launch party

This project was certainly a fun change of pace for us. We worked with SAVAGE interior design to create an invitation launching their new wallpaper line. Since the wallpaper was the main attraction we used it as an inner folder around the details. The circular invitation played off the unique doorway of the home where the party is taking place. Black & white with metallic silver foil and the coolest Eames paper from Neenah kept the modern edge we were going for.
