Hocus Pocus 3rd birthday Party

Have you ever seen the movie Hocus Pocus? Please say yes! It's hilarious and ridiculous and we got the opportunity to create an invitation all around this spooky film. A birthday party for a little gal named Lily, turning 3 right around Halloween.

The concept was to create something interactive and super fun since it was going to kids. We die-cut a witches hat and designed a pull-out of the witches striped stockings. Took a bit of maneuvering and testing, but wowza - it turned out every better than we'd hoped.

Jimmy Choo Spring party

"whipped into a blur by wings beating too fast to follow"… the mighty hummingbird became the centerpiece of our inspiration and design. We were set with the task of creating a save-the-date + invitation for a special Jimmy Choo event, benefiting the Nashville Symphony. The Spring collection included jewel tones, Iris' (fitting, as it's our the state flower), and of course, small, but mighty hummingbirds.

We watercolored the florals and let them show through around the address by using a vellum envelope on the Save the Date. Then on the main invitation we really tried to make it feel layered and ultra luxurious. Gorgeous calligraphy with lots of flourish and a die-cut wrap that slid off to reveal the metallic silver foil. All the girly details we could think of for a shoe party inside the most beautiful closet you've ever seen. Yes, the closet. One of a kind indeed!

Favorite detail was this delicate hummingbird carrying the stamp…

We got to be involved at every step of this party so we also created the cocktail napkins and take away bags. Inside were hand painted chocolates by local co., Olive & Sinclair. They were amazing and the color coordination was spot on. Details, details.

Draper James Whiskey Tasting with katie jacobs

Katie Jacobs, of Styling My Everyday, recently gave us a ring to see if we'd like to collaborate on a styled shoot for Draper James. Well… yes, please. What an honor!

Draper James is the new "gal" in town. It's Reece Witherspoon's first boutique nestled in the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville.

The theme was a Southern Whiskey Tasting and it took place at this incredible location called Homestead Manor. Think moss and antlers, beautiful reclaimed wood, a cozy bar, and some tasty cocktails for a girls night out. We designed a whiskey tasting invitation, place cards, and menus with all these elements in mind. Katie set the table with this cool Spode china so we painted a watercolor border to mimic the pattern. Then we backed the various pieces with woodgrain textured paper. Lots of special details that brought it all together.
